How to Enter.
To enter, complete the official Contest entry form at www.aristotle.net/refer. For additional entries into the drawing, on the official entry form refer up to 5 valid friends names/email addresses. All entries must be received by September 1, 2005. In case of dispute, entries will be determined to have been sent by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet Access Provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. All entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Delivery of prizes requires a street address (no P.O. Boxes). Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. No facsimiles, mechanical reproductions alterations or forged entries. Only fully completed entry forms are eligible. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the sender, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Contest which may limit the ability to play or participate, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Contest. If for any reason, (including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of Sponsor, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest), the Contest is not capable of being conducted as described in these rules, Sponsor shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Alternative method to enter without referring a friend: hand-print your name, address, city, state, zip, day and evening phone numbers, your Aristotle e-mail address, and the Aristotle Refer-A-Friend to Save and Win (10th Anniversary) Contest" on a 3" x 5" card, and mail it in a stamped #10 envelope to: Customer Service, Aristotle.Net Inc., 401 West Capitol, Suite 700, Little Rock, AR 72201. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by 8/22/05 and received by 9/1/05. No mechanical reproductions permitted. Entries become the property of Aristotle.Net Inc. and will not be returned.
Start/End Dates.
Contest begins at Midnight on April 17, 2005, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on September 1, 2005.
Eligibility.
Participation open only to Aristotle customers who are residents of the U.S, age 18 and over as of April 17. Void Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. Military installations in foreign countries, anywhere outside of the U.S. and where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. Employees, officers & directors of Aristotle.net ("Sponsor") and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, dealers, advertising and promotion agencies, manufacturers or distributors of Contest materials and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouse) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of such employees/officers/directors are not eligible to enter.
Drawing.
Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the drawing. Drawing will be conducted by Aristotle.net on or about September 2, 2005. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.
Prizes.
One (1) Grand Prizes consisting of a Sony Trinitron 32" HD-Ready Flat Screen TV or the cash equivalent (value up to $1,000).
Notification.
Winners will be notified by phone or email and may be required to sign and return, where legal, an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within three (3) days of prize notification. If winner cannot be contacted, if any prize is returned as undeliverable, or in the event of noncompliance with these Contest rules and requirements, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given. Limit one prize per person or household.
Conditions.
All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Participation in this Contest and acceptance of prize constitutes winners' permission to use their respective names, addresses (city and state), likenesses, biographical information and any statements made by winners regarding the Contest or Sponsor for advertising and promotional purposes without notice or additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By participating, entrants and winners agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors, from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with the Contest, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Contest-related activity and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and prize delivery. Sponsor is not responsible if any prize cannot be awarded due to delays or interruptions due to Acts of God, Acts of War, natural disasters, weather or terrorism. Entrants who do not comply with these Official Rules, or attempt to interfere with this promotion in any way shall be disqualified. Prizes are non-transferable. No substitutions. There is no purchase or sales presentation required to participate. A purchase does not increase odds of winning.
